When it comes to traveling, my friends and family know I love planning, sharing stories, capturing images, and providing recommendations—so a blog was a no brainer for a creative like me.

TRAVEL CHEAP & TRAVEL LIGHT …
I’m catching budget flights with only a personal item to save money for special splurges. One day when I’m not on a 20-something budget, I’ll reserve the expensive hotel or fly first class, but for now I’ll make do in economy if it means a spa trip!
FOOD, FOOD, FOOD (& DRINK) …
My mom has blogged our favorite family recipes as long as I can remember (plug for cafesid.blog!), so I come from a family of real foodies. I truly believe food and drink is the best way to experience the local culture—hello Tinto de Verano and tapas!
SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE …
I love to stay busy on my trips, but my fiancé’s affinity for relaxing on vacations is rubbing off on me (can you tell I’m type A?). I’ll get all my sightseeing in, but slowing down at a coffee shop or reading in a park is now essential to my travels.
